Fundraising Congratulations to FPGHS members who helped with our fundraising. We raised enough money for the induction and a fair bit extra for Millenium Village Project! Watch this space for more info! The Frank Porter Graham Honor Society is hosting a series of four wine tastings at The Wine Cellar this year. Each tasting will offer a different selection of wines, so we hope you'll join us for one, two,three or all the tastings! The tastings are open to anyone 21 years or older. Danny makes a special effort to find great wines at affordable prices. Tickets are $15 per person. 7:30PM Tuesday, February 6, 2007 - This is our last fundraiser and we want to make as much money as possible to benefit The Millenium Village Project. In honor of that upcoming "romantic" holiday we will be tasting a selection of sparkling and rose wines. (They're plenty good for drinking alone, too -- I mean the wine.)  Come and enjoy the fun! 7:30PM Tuesday, December 12, 2006 - Unwind and get a taste of the upcoming holidays! 7:30PM Thursday, November 16, 2006 - Prepare for Thanksgiving by tasting wines to pair with traditional dishes. 7:30PM Thursday, October 19, 2006 - Celebrate the harvest and enjoy a tasty and educational evening. The Wine Cellar has generously agreed to host our fundraiser and donate 10% of the night's wine sales to the FPGHS. Ticket proceeds will help to help cover the cost of our induction ceremony in the spring. All of the money raised from sale of wine, we will donate to The Millenium Village Project! Come and join the fun and support FPGHS and The Millenium Village Project! There are a limited number of tickets for each tasting, so if you're interested in attending be sure to reserve your spot ASAP. To reserve a spot, please email FPGHSwith your name and the number of tickets you'd like. Once your reservation is confirmed, please send a check payable to "FPGHS" to Cassidy Sugimoto, School of Information and Library Science, CB #3360, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-3360.
